When my eyes close (POEM)

When I close my eyes I invision me in a world alone

Me without any worries. I see myself full grown.

I see my future happy, my mind fully evolved.

I see the outcome of our worlds problems, which have all now been resolved.

Their is no dystopia, no control, and no power as well.

I will live to see the day of peace. The world will never fail.

When my eyes close, I finally relax, because my mind is calm now.

The day is done now

My worries have calmed down.

This is me at my happiest, my future seems bright, my daydreams have turned to black static.

Only when my eyes close can I relax, because I can invent my own reality. My imagination closes in, my thoughts no longer focus. When my eyes close my world turns to black, and hope resides beneath the darkness.

Only when my eyes close.........
